you all know the jokes jews love to tell about themselves.
books and books of them.. the jokes about catholic priests.. i am sure there are buddhist jokes too.
(anybody heard one?).
I can painfully remember as a child that whenever a JW-derived joke appeared on the telly, how my parents would pull distainful faces. I just squirmed with embarrassment and hoped that none of my schoolmates would repeat the joke next day.
Not pleasant being part of a groundlessly elitist cult, huh?

lately, i've seen more than a few unhappy couples go their own way and do their own thing.
one guy i know regularly dates women only on friday nights but comes home to his wife the rest of the time.
my impression is she doesn't want to know what he's doing------just as long as he comes home to her.. i know a state senator's wife who has 2 kids and she's miserable with her politician/lawyer husband but in public they look like the perfect couple.
I'm long-term separated (with no immediate plans to divorce), and I'll date whom I please!

i have three days left of my two week notice working my job.
in march, i will have been there five years.
i took this job, after many years of thinking the end would come soon, keeping jobs that had no future or retirement..........i thought i would retire from this job.. i put my two weeks notice in without having another job lined up.

It's not really my place to speak for her, except to say that she's alive, well and trying to study whilst on medication, and trying to study so she can get back to work.
